With the economy the way it is, I know it is really hard for someone with my credit to get a personal loan right now. Because of unforseen circumstances, I need to get a small loan quickly. Does anyone have any ideas besides payday advance lenders (I think these places are way shady.) Help! I really need this money soon. I have a good full time job with steady income, but just isn’t enough right now. Serious answers only please and thanks in advance!! : )
My husband and I are being transferred to Riverside,CA. We would like to know the safest and somewhat affordable (if that exists in CA) areas near the base. We can afford $1500-$1800 a month for rent or up to $290k for a mortgage.
I have only enough in personal savings to cover the 20% down payment and the closing costs and a couple months reserves. I have enough in my 401k to pay my mortgage for 10 years. Will lenders count 401k as assets for determining reserves to qualify for a mortgage?
Sassy: You CAN withdraw 401k money. It’s my money. Everyone else: I know that I will pay tax and penalties on it, so no need to remind me. I’m just wondering if they will count it as an asset.
